Law enforcement & legal requests

This page is for law enforcement and government authorities seeking user records or the removal of content from ourdream. ourdream is operated by Dream Studio USA, Inc. We disclose user information only when required by valid legal process appropriate to the requesting authority's jurisdiction, or in a genuine emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm. Submitting a request does not guarantee disclosure — we review each request against applicable law and the rights of the people it concerns.

Legal process we accept

Within the United States, we require valid legal process appropriate to the data sought — a subpoena, court order, or search warrant — issued under proper authority. The type of process required depends on the category of records requested and the standards set by applicable law.

For authorities outside the United States, we generally require a request made through a Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT), a letter rogatory, or another recognised channel for cross-border legal assistance, unless an applicable framework provides otherwise.

We may decline, or ask you to narrow, requests that are facially invalid, overbroad, vague, or not issued under proper legal authority. Responding to a request waives none of our objections or those of the affected user.

How to serve us

The form below — and trust@ourdream.ai — is our designated channel for receiving legal requests. Using it helps us route and act on your request quickly. It is an intake channel only: it is not, and is not a substitute for, valid service of legal process.

Serving or submitting through this page does not waive any requirement of proper service, or any objection available to us or to the affected user.

For ourdream to accept and act on a request submitted through this form, all of the following must be true:

1. The document is validly issued by a court or a competent legal or administrative authority and is directed to the correct operating entity named above.
2. The document is uploaded through this form.
3. Every required field is completed accurately and in full.
4. A copy is also served on Dream Studio USA, Inc. by mail at the address above.

If these requirements are not met, we may decline to accept service through this form and may require formal legal service at the registered address; where that is the case, we will tell you. We may assert or waive any legal objection or right available to us, in our sole discretion. Nothing here waives the rights of the people a request concerns.

How we handle requests

We verify the authority and authenticity of each request before acting, and may contact you through official channels to confirm. Please provide an official email address and phone number so we can reach you.

We treat matters involving an imminent risk to life, child safety, or active threats as our highest priority and act on them immediately. We respond to other valid legal requests as promptly as the law requires, and answer routine correspondence within a few business days.

ourdream makes no general commitment to notify a user that their information has been requested. Where the law or a court order requires us to give — or to withhold — notice, we follow that requirement.

Emergency disclosure requests

In an emergency involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm, submit the form with the emergency option selected (or, by email, mark the subject line urgent). Describe the nature of the emergency, the specific harm, the accounts or content involved, and the information needed to address it. We review emergency requests on an expedited basis and may disclose information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to prevent the harm, as permitted by law.

Preservation requests

We honour reasonable requests to preserve records pending valid legal process. Identify the accounts or content with specificity and the matter the preservation relates to. Absent a renewal, we maintain a preservation for the period required by applicable law. A preservation request does not itself compel disclosure — the underlying records are produced only on valid legal process.

Administrative costs

Where the law permits, ourdream may seek reimbursement of the reasonable and documented costs of locating, retrieving, and producing records in response to legal process. We do not charge for emergency disclosure requests or for preservation requests.

Copyright and intellectual property (DMCA)

This page is not the channel for copyright or other intellectual property complaints. Rights-holders and their authorised representatives should send notices to trust@ourdream.ai. A complete notice includes:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material on ourdream (URL, character name, or username).
3. Your contact information.
4. A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised.
5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your information is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the rights-holder.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We act expeditiously on complete notices, as required by law. Requests from the EU and UK are handled under the applicable notice-and-action and illegal-content frameworks.
