feature friday - 9/04/2026
happy feature friday! sorry i missed you last week, i was drowning in the summer of love competition. this one is a mix of some features making their way across the site, a little cleanup, and some work we're currently testing.
updates
- selective editing — the paint brush editor from comic studio is now available in regular image editing, so you can selectively edit specific parts of an image!
- video seed control removed — removed the video "seed control" since it wasn't getting much use.
- memory settings cleanup — cleaned up the memory ui in settings to make it a little easier to navigate.
- rising dreamer updates - rising dreamers no longer need community interaction in order to make rising! they just need to meet the interactions goal and submit their app; lucid still maintains its standards. just to let the rest of the community have an idea of how much fun we're having over here
bug fixes
- chat stability — we've reinforced chat so it should now handle page refreshes and connection drops much better.
currently working on
we're doubling down on chat right now! we're currently working on new chat models, addressing chat blandness, and plenty more improvements to the overall chat experience. as always, keep the feedback coming! see you next friday
