happy friday! community voices is the headline this week, plus creators get control over pack previews, search got a lot smarter, and we cleared out a solid stack of fixes.

community voices - browse voices shared by the community and filter by language, gender, or accent. you can submit your own for review too. using community voices requires premium
pick your pack previews - following last week's preview change, creators can now choose exactly which four images and four videos show as previews, under manage then select previews
drag to reorder display media - you can now drag character and group chat display media into the order you want, including changing which one is the cover
prime video presets - prime now has the standard video action presets
smarter search - search finds creators and packs without needing the @, and searching a creator's username now prioritises their work
improvements
redesigned filters - my ai filters and community gallery search filters both got a redesign
redesigned notifications - the refresh spinner now sits beside the title instead of covering your notifications while it loads
reply suggestion states - chat reply suggestions now show "thinking" and "writing" while they load, so you know something's happening
bug fixes
chat formatting - messages were briefly showing raw text and stray asterisks after reformatting
chat scrolling - fixed scrolling on older versions of chrome
replace images - it was showing media from the wrong version. group scenario editing was also changing the cast order, which is fixed as well
happy friday! a big one this week: new discovery shelves, more creator tools for takedowns and rejections, a pile of fixes, and a change to pack terms that creators should read in full below
updates
- popular packs and comics now have their own shelves in community - creators can now appeal content takedowns through the help desk, and there’s a replacement media flow for group chats with rejected images - we’ve added more filters to myai - the limit is now 20, up from 10 - you can now flag a response as “nonsense / bad grammar” when regenerating - if you’re seeing the homepage video packs rail, you can now hide it in preferences - we have applied our character automod to group chats! - creator earnings per unlock have moved from . the 50% rate was promotional, and 30% is where it settles going forward. free packs now show non-premium viewers a four item preview
happy friday! this week is mostly about keeping you in the loop: new notifications for group chats, warnings you can’t miss, and the “for you” ranking graduating out of testing
happy happy friday! this week is mostly fixes, and good ones. chat memory is sturdier and following search actually respects who you follow.
updates
- we've gone back to a single private scenario field and removed the multi-scenario controls. private character details also no longer get copied into public group chat descriptions
another friday, another batch of updates! this week we've got new relationship tags, group chats on the homepage, a permanent home for prime, a persona quality of life change, and a couple of fixes. our discord testers also have something new to play with.
another friday, another batch of updates! the big one this week is beta testing: you can now link your discord account to ourdream and give yourself tester roles without waiting on staff. beyond that, this week leans toward organization and control, with folders, chat management, a notifications overhaul, and new blocking options, plus a creator payout milestone worth celebrating.
we've heard the feedback over the last few days and have made some adjustments to explore visibility to reflect the desire for user control. we also have a new update regarding the ui for blocked tags, located in preferences and notifications, and created some new tags
you've been putting together packs, and we've noticed. now, it's race to the top until September 14 at 5:00am UTC 🐎
starting right now, every free curated pack is in the running. you have until to build the pack people can't resist grabbing. we have a weakness for good taste, and we're ready to reward it.
happy feature friday! sorry i missed you last week, i was drowning in the summer of love competition. this one is a mix of some features making their way across the site, a little cleanup, and some work we're currently testing.
another week wrapped up! the team's been a bit more behind-the-scenes with a lot of testing, optimization, and a few things quietly making their way onto the site
this week is a little different because we do have some active LLM issues that the team is currently digging into. slow responses and some of the y'all have been noticing are both being actively investigated. in the meantime, here's what we've been doing!
heyhey everyone! this week was less about launching shiny new things and more about tuning what we've already got. a lot of little adjustments have been going into the platform based on feedback, testing, and things we've been seeing in the wild here's what we've been working on:
welcome to the very first feature friday, @everyone!
we retired our traditional changelog because, frankly, we couldn't keep up with it. a lot of smaller improvements, bug fixes, and quality-of-life changes were slipping through the cracks, even though they made a real difference.
discovery shelves
help desk appeals
more myai filters
more tags for group chats and comics
new regenerate reason
hide the video packs rail
gc autoapproval
changes to packs

group chat notifications - followers now get alerted when you publish a new group chat, and creators get notified when theirs are liked video evaluation feedback - when voting on community videos you can now leave written feedback alongside your vote. these go to staff, not the public. this is just for our video beta testers!
improvements
profile highlights - community approved images and videos from unlisted characters can be highlighted again account warnings - unread warnings now show as a persistent popup so they don’t get missed
bug fixes
curated packs - hidden or deleted media was blocking owners from saving a new order. fixed! generation gallery - “generating” tiles were disappearing while images were still processing. also fixed! character editing - editing a character with a video could wipe its display image. triple fixed!
as always, keep the feedback coming! the image for this week comes from three characters by our architects! from left to right: amber: pretend we hooked up some1cool, simone delaney by purexistence, and luna fallon by venividivici!

character release dates - character gallery pages now show their release date
genius and muse genius are sunsetting - both are marked as such now so nobody gets caught off guard later

following search - following searches now return results from creators you actually follow
packs - browsing packs and opening previews both load better, with video thumbnails and covers repaired
bug fixes
ios composer - the collapsed input was failing to open the keyboard or sitting behind it. both fixed!
a few of these changes are still making their way out, so if one hasn't reached your account yet, give it a bit.
what we're testing right now
we've seen some confusion here, so to clear things up: we run a/b tests, meaning some accounts get a feature while others don't, on purpose. if someone has something you can't find on your account, that's usually why and it isn't a bug. right now, we're testing:
story choices - eligible accounts get off, prefill, and send options. prefill lets you edit a suggestion before sending it. we're also working on missing and repetitive suggestions
explore ranking - some accounts see a trending sort testing different recommendations. popular's daily, weekly, and monthly ordering stays separate, and trending won't appear for everyone
homepage video packs - some visitors see a new video pack section with playable previews
prime references - eligible accounts can add image, video, and voice references to prime video generations
sunsetting models - genius and muse genius won't be appearing for most new users as we sunset the models
as always, keep the feedback coming! have a happy weekend!
the image this week is from a character by one of our very own dreamer architects! check out jaxz09's newest character, kimberly — bratty stepsister!
group chats on the homepage - group chats now appear on the homepage alongside regular characters
prime's promo is finished! - prime video now costs 10 coins and has shed its promo and beta tags
new complex relationship tags - we've added love triangle, situationship, loyalty test, betrayal, almost cheating, and arranged marriage. we're still taking feedback here, we're just trying to round out the tagging system. it's been underutilized for far too long and we're building up to standardization.
improvements
personas - you can drag and reorder your personas now!
bug fixes
slash commands - / commands stopped working for a bit. they're fixed now!
1080p uploads - 1080p videos couldn't be uploaded to character cards for a few days. also fixed!
in testing
"next move" story choices in chat - creators can now write the four story choices themselves rather than a single first reply, drawn from ten options so they actually fit the scene. this one is with our discord testers right now. if you want in, link your account at settings → discord or run /login in any channel of our server, then run /join-testers. not in the server yet? join us at discord.com/invite/ourdreamai
beta testing is open
you can now link discord to your ourdream account and assign yourself the tester roles directly. no waiting on staff.
what you get:
access to tester channels and to the features we roll out to testers first
50 dreamcoins deposited to your account after a successful connection. the coin bonus is premium only
how to do it:
connect your accounts, either by running /login in our discord server and tapping connect ourdream, or on the site at settings → discord
run /join-testers in the server
that's the whole thing. one discord account, one ourdream account, so stay signed in as the account you want linked. if you run /join-testers before connecting, it will tell you to link first: run /login, finish the connect, then try again. if the button has expired, run /login again.
done testing? /leave-testers drops the roles and the beta feature access along with them.
folders are live! - you can now organize your content into folders, found in /generate under "manage"
new notifications - activity, community, and product updates all live in one space now, and you can change which notifications you see directly from the dropdown
chat management - chats can now be pinned, renamed, and deleted from within the character's chat history
block creators - alongside blocked tags, you can now block individual creators. both live in the "preferences and notifications" tab of your profile, so you can adjust who and what shows up for you in one place
improper tagging reports - you can now report characters specifically for improper tagging
improvements
packs discovery - switched packs from "top weekly" to "trending" to bring more diversity to what surfaces
share pages - updated our share pages to include links to the creator's gallery, packs, and other content
preferences/notifications ui - cleaned up the profile preferences and notifications interface
/generate - a handful of small ui cleanup items throughout
community
creator spotlight interviews - our discord now has a channel dedicated to creator spotlight interviews. the series began with a beloved discord user running them in our #art channel and has grown into its own home on the server, so come read through them if you haven't yet
1,000,000 dreamcoins paid out - creators have now been paid a combined 1,000,000 dreamcoins from curated packs!
currently working on we're putting together an official ourdream guide, built on senior mod ollie226's in-depth character creation guide that is currently available on the discord. the goal is to make guides more accessible while keeping one major source of truth for character creation going forward.
as always, keep the feedback coming.
we've created some new tags!! we've got a new umbrella concept: omegaverse, with some subsequent other tags that help describe it
we've adjusted some tags. after a few days of feedback, we understand that the simple cheating and ntr tags weren't quite capturing the intricacies of the relationships y'all build, as well as what users were wanting to block
cnc is off the exclusion list entirely, and now separate from free use. it stays on explore like everything else. we're taking the feedback and learning from that one
the rest becomes a filter you control. three parent tags get excluded by default, and you can switch any of them off yourself whenever you like. do it once and it sticks - cuckold — cuckold, hotwifing, netorase, sharing - cheating — netori, cheating, ntr - complex relationships — ntr bait, cheating bait, fake ntr
why we changed it
a lot of you came to us with the same note: the goal was fine, but we made the call on your behalf when we could have handed you the switch instead. that's a good note, so we're building the switch. we'd rather move fast when you tell us we've got something wrong than defend a first draft just because it was ours.
creators, one real ask
use the parent tags above. we know the community has finer-grained labels and that some of them are genuinely more precise, but variants like s-ntr, a-ntr, and otherwise are close to impossible for us to moderate at scale. tag what it is and the filter does what everybody wants it to do
new blocked tag ui
we created this to simplify users searching for tags to block! you can find the general tag and the tags that fall under their umbrellas and block accordingly... or make a note of them and use them in your next dive on explore
blocked tags can be located in your profile settings, over in preferences & notifications. you'll be able to adjust from there!
we're still iterating and we'll keep bringing it here. keep telling us when something's off, and thank you for your patience while we worked on this!
stitch is live! - users can now combine 2-10 videos from their gallery into one video; select clips, tap stitch, and drag to reorder before submitting.
curated packs — packs have received some competition and discovery updates, including promotion on the homepage and the addition of view counts. we've also extended the competition through monday!
more from this creator — the section underneath character cards now uses a mix of the creator's most popular characters and newest characters, making it easier to discover both
bug fixes
generation loading — refined the loading behavior during generations and verified the changes with more accurate recordings
improvements
presets ui — upgraded the presets creation interface to match the new generate ui.
prime video improvements — improved thrusting actions for the prime video model. we're still working on improving other actions as well.

no double-dipping: each pack can win only one prize.
there's no channel, and nothing to sign up for. head to pack creation, start curating, and make something the community loves!
a few notes
packs now live under the new curated tab on a creator's profile, and will soon have a spot of their own on the site
the images allowed for packs are the ones that pass our automod, so no queue! the pack goes live the moment you publish it
from now until september 30th, creators keep 50% of every unlock. that rate is to be decided after then, so get your packs out quickly!
get started with the fun by going to your profile, clicking on curated beside characters, and have fun curating!
selective editing — the paint brush editor from comic studio is now available in regular image editing, so you can selectively edit specific parts of an image!
video seed control removed — removed the video "seed control" since it wasn't getting much use.
memory settings cleanup — cleaned up the memory ui in settings to make it a little easier to navigate.
rising dreamer updates - rising dreamers no longer need community interaction in order to make rising! they just need to meet the interactions goal and submit their app; lucid still maintains its standards. just to let the rest of the community have an idea of how much fun we're having over here
bug fixes
chat stability — we've reinforced chat so it should now handle page refreshes and connection drops much better.
currently working on
we're doubling down on chat right now! we're currently working on new chat models, addressing chat blandness, and plenty more improvements to the overall chat experience. as always, keep the feedback coming! see you next friday
realistic comics — we've quietly added support for realistic characters in our comic studio
comics on mobile — you can now create comics from mobile as well!
more from this creator — we've added a new discovery feature that makes it easier to find more characters, group chats, and comics from the same creator. you'll see a "More from [CreatorName]" section below the card.
bug fixes
chat failures — we've been testing some different providers, which has caused some failures and other weirdness. we're ending that testing today, so these issues should stop going forward.
improvements
optimization — we've been working on a number of behind-the-scenes optimizations to improve overall performance.
fusion image model — we're currently running tests with our new image model
new creation flows — we're also testing some new creation experiences as we continue improving the creation process
there's still plenty being tested behind the scenes, so we'll keep you posted as things are ready to roll out. as always, keep the feedback coming! one last thing: the team has a very fun new thing for chat coming today i hope y'all are as excited as we are
blandness
bug fixes
response length fix — we just pushed a fix for responses coming out way too short or way too long. it responded really well in testing, so we're hoping this gets things back to a much more reasonable middle ground.
looping fix — This was pushed last night!
upgrade page — there was a brief issue the other day where the upgrade page wasn't appearing for unsubscribed users. this has been fixed!
improvements
spicy 2 upgrade — we've updated the spicy 2 video model with improvements to audio quality and better adherence to actions.
we're still keeping a close eye on the bigger LLM issues, so please keep sending us detailed feedback when things aren't right! it genuinely helps us figure out what's happening and where to poke next. see ya next week!!
nothing major to report here this week that wasn't already announced— we're mostly in "make the existing stuff better" mode that being said, we have some fun things cooking
bug fixes
nothing particularly exciting to report here this week, which is probably a good thing!
improvements
feed unmute button — you can now unmute feed content directly from the feed!
formatting & writing styles — we've been tweaking our formatting and writing style systems for better adherence to the styles you've actually selected
upgraded cinematic video model — we've improved our cinematic video model to give generations a better overall experience and quality
spicier chats — after hearing a lot of feedback that conversations were feeling a little too bland, we've given our chats a pretty substantial boost in spice. we're still tuning this, so your feedback is especially valuable here! check out the post unknown for more details and let us know how it's going
what's next?
more tuning, more polish, and plenty of things we're still cooking behind the scenes keep the feedback coming, especially when something feels off; those little reports are often what point us toward the next thing that needs fixing see you next friday!
now, every friday i'll be posting a roundup of everything worth knowing from the past week. major announcements will still get their own posts, but feature friday is where you'll find all the little things that make the platform better.
updates male character sexual orientation filter we've added a sexual orientation filter for male characters to help users more easily discover the kinds of characters they're looking for.
* available during character creation and explore * creators can mark male characters as gay, straight, or open if applicable * male characters with "open" selected will continue to appear in both categories, so existing characters remain discoverable by everyone
this is purely a discovery feature designed to give users more control over the content they'd like to browse—it isn't intended to limit visibility or change how existing characters appear by default.
bug fixes * fixed an issue where our thinking models could occasionally return an empty response, causing them to repeatedly enter a thinking state instead of completing their reply.
improvements character versioning improvements editing your characters is now much more straightforward.
* drafts can now be edited directly instead of creating a brand new draft every time * you can now designate any version as the **primary version** to submit for moderation
what's next? we've got plenty more in the works, and while we can't always share everything ahead of time, we'll keep you posted as things become ready to ship.
thanks, as always, for all the reports, suggestions, and feedback. they genuinely help shape where we're headed, and we hope feature friday gives everyone a clearer picture of the progress being made behind the scenes
